  Perfect location, walking distance to everything we needed. The park itself is small, but clean neat and tidy. $1 for showers but are clean. The price for the powered site was reasonable. The shop attached had great fish and chips. Owners are friendly. They also have cabins onsite.

  If you plan on staying on a site (powered or unpowered) I think its probably ok. There are free showers right near the camping site.
  We stayed in a cabin and had a number of issues. No smoke detector or flyscreen on windows, water damage (not sure if new or old) on roof throughout cabin, couldnt get the oven to work and massive crack in bathroom basin.
  Wanted to have a word to someone about the issues before we left but noone there until 9am and we were offsite majority of the time.
  Overall I felt it was run down and quite overpriced at $110 a night.

  This was our first time camping and with 3 children and 2 adults.
  It was a good experience we used our own gas cooker instead of using the bbq area.
  We only stayed 2 nights due to being a bit cold, and also some campers that were a bit noisy last night but management dealt with that first thing this morning.
  I would of given 5 stars but nothing for kids to play on but that is only a minor thing.
  My kids still loved camping and we will be back !!!

  I read the ridiculous review by Denise Castle and could not believe the rubbish she wrote. I was in the park at the same time and was disgusted at the arrogance of her and her family who ignored the signs saying no visitors cars inside the park. The ten family members took over the camp kitchen and prevented paying people from using it. The uninvited kids rode their bikes up and down the road in front of the paying people's sites stiring up dust. Finally she raved on about only one entrance claiming the other way was locked , which is absolute rubbish. What an ignorant person. On behalf of all the others in the park I hope we never have the misfortune to have to share a park with her lot again.
